MTV’s Scream season 2 is limping towards the finish line. Of the Lakewood 6, only Jake (Tom Maden) was killed through the first 9 episodes, and he died in the premiere. Only a handful of minor characters have been killed off after that, and I am actually clueless to what is going on. It took until episode 9 to get some backstory that Ms. Lang (Austin Highsmith) was orphan buddies with Piper Shaw (Amelia Rose Blaire), season 1’s killer, and the half sister of heroine Emma (Willa Fitzgerald). Emma and Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) found this out when a party at the old orphanage left Piper’s corpse set up for them, and a fresh body was hanging from the rafters. Noah (John Karna) and Zoe (Kiana Lede) sealed the deal, which may seal their deal if you know what I mean, while Brooke (Carson Young) is getting closer to troubled suspect Gustavo (Santiago Segura). That should have us caught up...
